Getting everything together to plan the perfect wedding is a difficult task. There are about a million things that must be done to get everything in perfect alignment for the big day. There are some great online wedding planning sites that can help you keep everything together and make things a whole lot easier for you.

There are some free sites out there that will allow you to use their wedding planning tools with no charge, but others will offer you a free trial and a small fee for the use of the software. The fee is relatively small considering the amount of help that the software can be. There are to do lists and a task manager as well as a handy way to keep track of your budget. Online wedding planning is the new way to go for busy brides.

Imagine being able to simply log into your account and taking a look at what you still have left to do, the appointments you have scheduled and a full list of who has RSVP’d so far. Let your fiancé have access to the site and he can take a look at what must still be accomplished and the tasks that are his to take care of. It’s a simple and easy way to keep track of everything in one spot.

In the past, busy brides were required to keep track of their entire wedding planning in a binder or notebook. This has eliminated the need to keep track of all of that paper and keep everything in one neat spot. It is a great idea if you are on a budget and must watch every penny that you spend. Not only will you have the budget aspect of the software, but also you will eliminate the need to hire a wedding planner. It’s like having your own wedding planner in your computer. The cost of this software is considerably less than it would be to hire someone to take care of all of the planning of your wedding.

Take advantage of technology and look into online wedding planning software. It is a great way to ease your burden while you are planning the biggest day of your life. Wedding planning can be a very stressful time and many brides find the overwhelming stress too much to handle. With this technology the burden is eased a bit and the worry over missing some important detail is eliminated when you use online wedding planning.

Destination Wedding Planning

So, you’re beginning to plan your wedding. Exciting, isn’t it? First you have to pick the venue for your ceremony. Luckily you chose one that won’t break the bank. Next there’s the venue for the reception. Uh-oh, the bank’s starting to bulge around the seams. That’s okay; everything will be fine as long as you keep the guest list down. Hopefully Aunt Gladys’ branch of the family won’t mind if they’re not…

Oh, they do mind.

And so does your cousin’s ex-girlfriend’s brother and his family. And your boss and her husband and three kids. Pretty soon your dental hygienist is perturbed that she’s not invited. Don’t look now, but your wedding budget’s going to explode. It’s about this time you wish you could just skip the wedding and go straight to the honeymoon on some tranquil island somewhere. Right?

Hm…maybe you can. It’s called eloping. Or, in some circles, a destination wedding with just the two of you.

It seems more and more people are foregoing the traditional big wedding for a smaller affair in some exciting destination with just the bride and groom, or perhaps a small number of close family members. And, why not. With the high price of wedding planning these days, a destination wedding or eloping just makes sense.

Of course, just because you’ve opted for eloping or a small destination wedding doesn’t mean you can throw your wedding planning checklist away. It’s just a smaller checklist. Let’s review what might be on your destination wedding planning checklist:

1. Choosing a Destination

This is the fun part. You have many fun choices before you. You can get married:

In a hot-air balloon over Colorado.

At Disneyland.

On a beach in Southern California with just you, your partner, the wedding officiant, and a million dollar view that’s costing you nothing.

On a roller coaster in New Jersey.

While snorkeling in Maui.

Overlooking Niagara Falls.

While bungee jumping in Las Vegas.

At a historic inn in Vermont.

While planning the location for your destination wedding or elopement, do keep in mind the time of year you’ll be getting married. You can keep the costs down considerably if you go during the off-season of the chosen location.

2. Make the Travel Plans

Making your travel plan far ahead of time will also cut down on costs. Also, be creative when considering the mode of travel. Maybe you could travel by train instead of by plane. A train can add some more romance to your wedding plans.

3. The Legal Issues

You need to check on the laws governing marriage in your chosen location. If you’re a U.S. citizen and you plan on getting married in another country, for example, be sure to research what documentation you might need. There might also be a longer waiting period from getting your marriage license to actually marrying. Also, make sure you have your passport up to date.

4. The Wedding Officiant

5. The Photographer

6. Cake and Champagne

Whatever location you choose, be it a New England inn or bungee jumping in Las Vegas, you will probably find a company which will provide the wedding officiant, photographer and cake and champagne, as well as limousine transportation to the ceremony site. Be sure to ask if they’re included in your package. If not, make sure you have them all lined up before your ceremony.

An elopement or destination wedding can be good for your budget and your stress level. And, if your Aunt Gladys is mad because she’s not invited, bring her back something from Maui. That should keep her happy.

Wedding Planning – Tips For Making A Wedding Plan

Wedding planning becomes fun when you have a lot of talent, time, and enough budgets for that. A wedding planner can bring out all the exiting and innovative ideas and hidden frustration by planning a fun wedding. Many people prefer to hand over the responsibility of wedding planning to professional event planners as they want their special day to be memorable for everyone. Everyone wants to have a perfect wedding plan for them. Here are some tips for wedding planning so you can arrange the event of your wedding in a nice manner.

Budget; it is one of the most important things for wedding planning. At times you have plenty of ideas in your mind but can not fulfill just because of the tight budget so it is better to plan the entire event according to the budget. Start saving for your wedding; make a separate account for your wedding budget so you can make all your dreams come true for the events. Explore on the internet about the market price of different things used in the wedding; compare prices and find good and responsible venders.

Time; you need to have enough time to plan your wedding in a perfect manner so try to plan for the wedding at least 12 months before; make sure to spread the word about your wedding so the guest would be able to plan for your wedding. Make sure your guests would be available on that date and time; if you plan much before the time you can change it to please your dear ones.

Theme: of course everyone wants to have a memorable wedding event and having an interesting theme is the best way to make it last in the memory of guests. So keep a special and different theme for your wedding. Many people go crazy while planning a theme but you must remember that wedding is an event where people of every age group come so keep a general theme in mind instead of planning a beach party or golf match.

Venue: venue should be decided as early and possible; if you have an outdoor event then make emergency arrangements for weather condition.

Invitation cards; get your invitation cards printed timely; send them to the invitees at least a week before and there are any guests expected from out of the town, send them at least 2 or 3 weeks before so they can get leave from their work. Get a few extra cards printed for emergency.

Vendors: search for good venders and ask other people about the venders who have already experienced them.

Check list: never forget to make a checklist for any event. List all the things and mark for example guests, invitation cards, décor, caterers, flowers, wedding cake, wedding dress and wedding ring, best man’s dress, master of the ceremony’s speech etc.

Keep these points in your mind to make your wedding planning perfect and flawless.

Wedding Planning On A Budget

Getting Involved with planning a wedding on a budget for a big wedding with a lot of guests, selecting your big white dress from so many wedding dress styles out there is very important part of planning. Most wedding planners advise selecting your dress before anything else and then planning the wedding around aspects of the dress.

Budget is the first thing you want to consider when you are buying your wedding dress. Sometimes you can even get you dress free (if you borrow it from a friend or family member). A wedding dress can cost you hundreds to thousands of dollars. You may want to plan a budget for your wedding gown before going shopping and if someone else or maybe your parents are paying for the dress, you should include them in the budget discussions.

You might want to start looking for a discount wedding dress If you are on a budget and can not afford to pay thousands for your perfect wedding dress. You can get a beautiful wedding gown for less than 00. You do not need to spend thousands to look beautiful, and don’t let any sales associate tell you differently. When you are budgeting remember to include the cost of shoes, a veil and any hairpieces you will need. You might also need to consider a budget for jewelry if you are planning to buy some.

Don’t forget that your wedding dress is just for one day. Yes it is an important day, but it’s still just one day. Don’t go into debt and don’t overspend on a wedding. After the wedding you wish that you would spend less and save some money for a house or something else.

You have planned on a budget and now it is time to look for a dress. You can start with looking at large stores such as David’s Bridal, as well as smaller bridal shops or online bridal stores. Go with someone. Take a friend, your mother or other female confidante along. Do not trust on the advice of the bridal consultant. She may be a lovely person, but she is most likely being paid on commission. It’s her job to get you to spend as much as possible.

When you try on bridal gowns, wear a strapless long-line bra and any neck jewelry you plan to wear at your wedding. Try to choose your shoes after you have chosen a dress. The bridal shop will alter your dress according to your shoes.

When you start shopping for a dress, there are a few things that you should consider. One important thing is what is in style now? You might want to look what other celebrities are wearing, if you are a fashion conscious bride. But if you don’t care for that and you are a free spirit, you might want to with something beautiful and elegant and purposely not choose a popular style.

You should also consider your body type. What type of body do you have? Which parts you don’t want to conceal? A full-figured bride will want a different style than a bride with no curves. Try as many dresses as possible and find the right one and find out which looks good on you.

Skin tone and skin color is also an important thing to consider. Bridal dresses come in white, ivory and palest pink. If your skin tone is pale, you might want to wear an ivory dress instead of a white one.

If you don’t like a dress, don’t let anyone talk you into wearing that dress. You should be happy with the dress and you are the one who is going to wear it.

It is very important not to get stressed out. Relax and enjoy your time with your family and friends. Make sure to have fun when choosing your wedding dress.

A Guide to Destination Wedding Planning

Article by Karan Naidoo

Weddings are expensive, and with good reason. Your wedding day is a special, once in a lifetime (hopefully) event where you can celebrate finding a soul mate and declaring your love and devotion for each other in front of dozens or hundreds of friends and family members.

But, like I said, it is expensive. There are literally hundreds of decisions that have to be made and one of the biggest is where the wedding should be. You would think that traveling to a different place to, a destination wedding, as they are called, would be an expensive choice. But that is not always so. In fact, with proper destination wedding planning, you can save a little to a lot of money.

Destination wedding planning seems daunting; not only do you have to plan a wedding, but you have to plan it in a different city? And true, destination wedding planning can lead to some fights, arguments, and certainly, some higher cost. However, there are ways that some clever destination wedding planning can save you money.

First of all, destination wedding planning can address another of the big issues facing many that are planning their very own wedding: the number and list of people to invite. By having a destination wedding, you can actually use this to your benefit. You might have some aunt or uncle that you are not particularly close with, but you know that you would absolutely hurt their feelings if you did not invite them.

If you have a destination wedding in another state, country or continent, you would still be able to invite them, knowing full well that they would never travel that far to go to a wedding. In this way, some careful destination wedding planning can save you some serious money by limiting your guest list considerably, without hurting anyone’s feelings.

Whether or not you go with traditional wedding planning or destination wedding planning, you should keep the travel option open. Even if you do not want to have a destination wedding, an attractive option for many couples is to take the money they might spend on a wedding and instead elope to another country and get married there well on a vacation.

Then, returning home, throwing one or two smaller parties with close family and friends. Whatever you do, keeping your options and thinking outside of the box could help you save money and still have the wedding you want.

On a woman’s wedding day, she would want everything to be perfect. This is because her wedding is an extremely important day that she will remember forever. For this reason, she wants to make sure that this big day goes well according to plan. In order to do so, she hires a wedding planner to help make sure that the plan is followed. Because she has dealt with things on her own method, it is easy for her to see the success of her wedding day. Here are some of the basic tips a soon to be bride has to consider when planning her big day:

Getting input from other peopleThe big reason why there are several bridal fairs that are being held in conference events is so brides can get ideas from other people. Through these bridal fairs, brides can get an idea of how they want their wedding to look like. They also want to make sure that they get everything done perfectly. Aside from getting this information from a bridal fair, she can also ask her friends about their own wedding. The reason why she must get input from other people is so she has an idea of how she would want her own wedding to look like. This will help her plan her theme, venue, and even the food served on her big day.

Think of how you want to look like on the big dayOne of the things that a bride has to think about is how she would want on her big day. This is something that a wedding planner cannot plan for the future bride. With this, the bride has to look through the different magazines, websites and even stores so she can look at the gowns that are available. This is how she can choose the right gown to wear on her big day.

This is so she will not be stressed and overwhelmed by the biggest day of her life. Since she has to make sure that everything goes according to plan, a planner can do the job for her. This will allow the future bride to relax on her wedding day. This is extremely important for any bride on this day of her life.

One thing that couples are not able to handle is to get a balance between budget and their preferences. This is probably the most important piece of wedding planning tips. You have to consider your budget whenever you are choosing your wedding items. It will certainly be very good for you if you can purchase a designer wedding dress. However, it may not be good for your wallet and you have to think carefully before you buy.

Here are some other wedding planning tips you will need to know. First of all, you will have to create a checklist for your wedding planning about a year before your big day. In fact, you should start thinking about your checklist once you have decided to get married. You will probably need to arrange a meeting with your family members and talk about your big day. Of course you do not need to have detailed planning at this stage. Yet it will be good for you to get some opinions and suggestions from your friends and family members at this stage.

You will then start thinking about your wedding date and venue. You will also need to think about the budget. As a matter of fact, you may know that you need to plan your budget before you plan for other details if you have read some wedding planning tips before.

When your budget is concerned, you have to know who will be financing the wedding. Most couples nowadays will pay for the wedding. However, your family members, especially your parents, may want to help in sponsoring your event. Again, you will need to discuss with your family members to this end. You will probably know how much you can afford at this stage.

Now, let us think about the venue. Your budget will certainly affect your choice of venue. And the size of your event will also affect your choice. A lot of articles on wedding planning tips have been stating that you will need to know the size of your event before you choose your venue. This is very true. You will need to consider your guests list so that you can have a basic idea on the size of your wedding. Be sure to ask your parents if there are some guests they would like to invite.

When you have settled your venue, you can think about your wedding theme. You theme can be affected by your wedding date. You will try to plan your event such that everything will be following the basic idea of your theme. The choice of color of your dress, invitation, favor and so on will be following your theme color.
